One of the founding fathers of Gilberts Cub Scout Pack 1047, Tony Lombardo, has been recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma, brain cancer. Tony is fighting back this horrible disease with daily chemotherapy and radiation treatment at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago.

Gilberts Cub Scout Pack and Troop 1047 will be hosting a pancake breakfast as a fundraiser to help Tony's family with medical and doctor bills on Saturday, April 28th from 8 am to 1 pm at

This is a reminder that all units need to turn in their Recharter packets at the Roundtable in February. Also Cub Scout Packs should recharter their Webelos II's to make transferring to a troop simpler.

If any unit is unable to turn in their packets by this date you should contact Eva Nowak or Josh Baker.

The District Pinewood Derby for the Shabbona & Chippewa districts will be held on April 14, 2012 @ Spring Hill Mall in West Dundee.
